Even though the theme of death is consistent in both of these poems, the way it is perceived by each poet is quite different. Dickinson accepts death as it is and is very content with the thought of dying. On the other hand, Dylan is angry at death and believes that it is a fight until the end. These are two creative literary views depicting an inescapable fact of life.
