In closing, this is just an interpretation of A Country Doctor by Franz Kafka and this story can be interpreted in many other ways. Kafka is dealing with the lost of Felice B as the doctor is dealing with lost of Rose. The story is a great example of symbolism, however the story is also one part of a tragic life that Kafka lived and this decision about Felice B was a “great perplexity” (136).
