Although their friendship was a short one, Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers are forever remembered as being best friends. They became friends because they played football together, but long after Brian’s hope of playing with Gale again was over, they were still friends. Even after Brian’s death, Brian’s spirit helped Gale when he had problems.
