There were several passages that truly caught my attention. First, on page 260, "My own sex, I hope, will excuse me, if I treat them like rational creatures, instead of flattering their fascinating graces, and viewing them as if they were in a state of perpetual childhood, unable to stand alone." showed last 75 words of 689 total…that these extraordinary women were trapped in male spirits. I find it intriguing from a Christian perspective because of the idea that the Lord doesn't make mistakes. He is perfect, and if he created an extraordinary person and placed that person in a woman's body, then that is what He intended to do. I don't know Wollstonecraft's background in regard to religion, but I found that to be a rather interesting thing to think about.
