Andrew Lloyd Webber was born on March 22, 1948 and grew up in a home in South Kensington, England. His home was filled with music and he showed, from an early age, an extraordinary natural talent for it. His next musical was Sunset Boulevard (1993) based on the film from 1950 with the same title. He and Alan Ayckbourn rewrote Jeeves and called it now By Jeeves. It opened in North America in December 1996. Now Andrew Lloyd Webber is rewriting his newest musical Whistle Down the Wind.
