The Character of Antigone
In the times when Sophocles wrote the tragic play Antigone, men believed that they

days, she was very brave. Antigone can be considered as a role model for young women in
today’s society because of the strong characteristics that she possessed. However being as brave
as Antigone was is sometimes hard. Still women continue to show their love and honor to what
they believe in, for it is their nature.
