Changes in `Antony and Cleopatra´ usually lead to the worse especially when they have to do with leaving somebody. For instance when Antony and Enobarus plan to leave Cleopatra in the beginning of the play Enobarus says that it would be better to kill the women than to leave them behind. This comment shows the gravity of the decision and Cleopatra`s dependence on Antony.
