Three areas that differ between Shakespeare’s “Othello” and Thomas Harris’ “The Silence of the Lambs”
When examining the play “Othello” by Shakespeare and the novel The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris, we are looking at some of the most psychotic characters in all of literature. These characters, while similar, do carry different traits, and have different outcomes. It is these differences in characters that we will examine in the following paper.

In this paper we have examined three main differences between Shakespeare’s “Othello” and Thomas Harris’ The Silence of the Lambs. Although there are many more comparisons that could be held, these were the ones I felt were central to a comparison of the two stories as a whole.
