I found it to be quite interesting and easy to read. Much of the book is written from many quotes taken from letters, memoirs, diaries, etc. The events of the book are described extremely well and it is well illustrated with pictures and maps. I would recommend this book for those who are interested in the Kentucky campaign and for those who have difficulty reading historical texts since this books takes on a different genre.
