The differences between Huxley’s World State and the United States today both have varying characteristics. Many people would say that living in Huxley’s environment would be a nerve-racking, bottomless life. The people of Huxley’s world lived predetermined lives and are free to nothing, not even themselves. This comes to my point of the class and racial prejudice of Brave New World.

could be necessary, or they could be for leisure. However we use these things to complete things in life and without certain things there wouldn’t be a life, or a life worth living. So although pleasure and self-indulgences are different to everyone, they are necessary tools in life in which we yearn and expect things from. These are found in every society, whether it be World State, United States, or a third world country.
