the Buddhist philosophy, that everyone is a ‘potential’ Buddha, and to achieve this ‘enlightenment,’ I must follow certain paths that leads me to a good mental life. This research also cleared my own misconception that all Buddhists are vegetarians, and instead learned that a ‘true heart’ is more important than what our diet is composed of. This research has somewhat persuaded me to decrease my consumption of meats for my health and other environmental factors.
