This was finally it. After long months of waiting and practicing
the Cheerleading State Competition had finally arrived and was here
staring me straight in the face. Cheerleading had been my main concern
for the past six months and my life revolved around it entirely.

winning. I had acquired this sense of determination and spirit that
would overcome any obstacles set before me. Good thing too, because
we ended up taking the place of third. I was surprised but I did not let
this destroy my spirits. I realized that we had accomplished our one true
goal, which was doing our very best. And that’s exactly what we had
done.
