OTHELLO
Iago is one of the more interesting characters in Shakespeare’s’ play “Othello.” Iago can be described as an evil, jealous, manipulative and a revenge seeking character. In fact, Iago is so manipulative throughout the entire play that it benefits him, but also causes his wife Emilia, Othello, Desdemona, and Roderigo to die. It is also said that Iago is perhaps the best villain that a character has ever been.

…showed last 75 words of 533 total…on him and that she found out it was all her husbands deceiving lies. Because Emilia did this it costed her, her life and then Othello killed himself because he could not bear the pain.
As a result of Iago being as intelligently manipulative, evil, revenge seeking, and jealous, he managed to get Cassio demoted and Othello, Desdemona, and Emilia killed with out any guilt what so ever. Iago is definitely one extremely intelligent villain.
