Without being able to physically manifest a belief in someway most would not be able to have as strong of a grip on those beliefs. Without being able to reaffirm faith in something through action then the ideas behind those actions could begin to drown in the flood of life's daily problems and concerns. Only with the sustaining passion derived from worship can these beliefs be maintained.
