Though many of the factors in this essay are concerning plants, the fact is that plant are the very beginning of the food chain. I think this is the reason why there are more organisms in the inland than in the rocky shore; there are more plants in the inland. And the amount of plants is affected by the factors already mentioned. The plants affect the organisms. And this is what ecosystems are about.
