One of the biggest controversies of this decade is euthanasia. The word euthanasia is derived from two classical Greek words, eu meaning “good” and thanatos, meaning “death”; thus the term literally means “good death.” Euthanasia is inducing the painless death of a person for reasons assumed to be merciful. us. I disagree with people who say euthanasia on people with terminal illness is for the better. Those patients may be suffering but did not Christ suffer for us? Should we cop out at every little pain and suffering we get in life. Christ did not cop out for us. He did not tell anyone around to stab him in the heart so he could just be done with it. So why should we?
