…showed last 75 words of 1751 total…thrillers of the Forties and there is also debate as to whether Film Noir is in itself a genre in it’s own right or rather a cinematic tool which is incorporated into other genres. Whatever the result of this debate, it is evident to me that the Film Noir is alive and well and will continue to survive, so long as the cinema goer longs to walk on the dark side of the street.
