Truly Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s travels is filled with exhilarating voyages
which resulted to great fascination. Dr. Lemuel Gulliver’s adventure to unique,
extraordinary places brought out many themes, Swift had endowed. Such themes that
can be found are mockery, imagination, amazing experiences and so on. Although, there
are numerous themes behind the tale of Gulliver’s Travels one theme stands out of many,

As for pride being good, pride for one’s country does not do any harm unless it destroys
relationship with other neighboring countries which is pride being bad. But most of the
times, pride is misused which might be why pride is deemed as one of the deadly sins.
