…showed last 75 words of 324 total…I looked back at the house just in time to see the fissure open its gaping mouth. A whirlwind arose and the walls fell inward. Without hesitation the tarn swallowed the remaining fragments of the House of Usher. I stood prostrated with uncertainty. I would survive this chain of events, but my mind had been altered. I eventually regained my composure and turned towards home. I had a long walk ahead of me.
