Wrapped in national pride and religious obligation, the issue is not one that will simply go away with the stroke of a pen and the re-drawing of international borders. Instead, a resolution must be drafted that allows both sides to walk away from the table claiming victory for their national interests, but also allowing the world to walk away claiming victory for peace and an end to the pressing threat of a nuclear conflict.
