As seen in the two poems, Wordsworth and Blake both had a very different outlook on the city of London. As these two poets are from the Romantic Movement, there isn’t much difference in the time in which they were written, so the variation in opinion could have arisen from personal outlooks and experiences.

So, amid all this confusion, torture and disease there are no positive aspects of London being brought to our attention. In “Composed upon Westminster Bridge”, there are no negative characteristics being made aware to us, so each poem gives us a one sided biased view based on opinion. The fact that these views are taken to the extremes of opposition makes them good contenders for Blake’s book of Innocence and Experience.
