Any prying into the personal affairs of a juror is unintentional, and is done only for the purpose of protecting the lawyer’s client. The lawyer will, of course, attempt to keep the questioning on the most friendly basis, since his object is to win friends and not to alienate the feelings of the other juror whom he is questioning or of any other members of the jury.
