Malcolm X was born Malcolm Little on May 19, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska to his parents Earl and Louise Little. Louise and Earl met in Montreal. They soon later fell in love and got married. Earl was a Baptist minister and organizer for Marcus Garvey, who wanted that all African-Americans go back to the land of their ancestors, Africa. Louise bore him six children.
