march on Washington in 1963. More importantly, the civil rights leaders of the post war
worked together for a common goal. Inner struggle and tension never were an issue, as was
the case of Washington and DuBois. Still, you cannot take away what was accomplished by
the early advocators. All of these men, past and present, worked endlessly for a common goal
and fortunately Dr. Martin Luther King's "dream" has finally become reality.
