The narrow mind of Monotheistic religions has given many the reputations of being highly self contained, unwelcoming (like the Jews), and full of excessive religious conviction (Muslims). On this basis I along with Hume do agree that Polytheistic religions are more conducive to maintaining peace and virtue in society.
