A comparison of my faith with the beliefs of the puritan would be that there is no comparison. The puritans and I both believe in God but from different aspects. in Mary Rowlandson’s days she always prayed and read her bible, but she never asked for what the did to the Indians instead she just called them names. Mary Rowlandson never asked god to help her forgive the Indians or to forgive the Indians. She concentrated solely on what she had lost and how to survive it all.
The puritans just did not get it they saw God as being mean, venegeful ,and hateful .
