Summary Essay
“Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest tossed to me.” These words welcomed millions of emigrants to the United States. To many these words spoke of hope of a better life and a better future. This land promised opportunity and a job. This land offered justice for all and freedom.

Everyone in America is part of the Melting Pot. In America we have the privilege to be able to sample all the different types of peoples and cultures. Only in America can you find a Taco Bell next to and Italian restaurant. Only in America you can find in classrooms filled with children from all backgrounds and walks of life. Only in America you can people in all colors that can actually get along.
