Both Protagonists lend us examples to live by, and give us the ability to put our own lives under the microscope, examine ourselves, and compare out fortune to the misfortune of others. And enable us to not take for granted the physical freedom which we exercise, the emotional and psychological freedom we can express, and the political and ethical freedom which we assume.
