…showed last 75 words of 925 total…call unfair, but that is what politics is all about. Although corruption was not a large part of the politics in Connecticut, it still was evident. People like J. Henry Roraback dominated the Republican Party with wealth and power over many other politicians, even some from the Democratic Party. Connecticut’s political system was not perfect, but no state at the time, or, for that matter, no states political system in present time is perfect.
