Racism.
Racism is real - very real. But I don't need to tell you people that. Those of us living in
the US, probably grew up being taught that racism is a very bad thing. However, we can't grow
up expecting that we won't see it almost everywhere, nor can we believe it to be a completely evil
thing. It's just a fact of life and something that's built into human nature.

…showed last 75 words of 1266 total…how much do you actually remember? The same works with what America teaches us. If the US tried to teach kids that some forms of discrimination are okay, then naturally the whole system comes crashing down. An overprotective mom creates a reasonably responsible child. A reasonably responsible mom creates a less disciplined child. (Once again, there are exceptions) It's all an effort to create a balance to counter the evil and greed of the world.
