Now it was like I really didn't care anymore and to try and earn my mom's love and affection was obviously not going to happen. So I continued to venture and do what I wanted to do. Inevitably, I later became my own worst enemy; who was still very afraid and alone. I ended up becoming a drug addict, who survived on the streets for 10+ years.
