In Shakespeare’s original text, there is humour created by serving men to
lower tension from the previous scene. Sampson, Gregory, Anthony and
Potpan are the serving men.

Introduction
For this piece of course work I have been asked to comment on how well I
think Baz Luhrmann has adapted Shakespeare’s text.
To show how he has brought this across I think I should look very
closely at both pieces. I will talk through both pieces and look into the
sections which are original and I will try to interpret hidden meanings.
