During Sparta’s “Golden Ages” Spartan sculptures were not only active at home but in cultural centers such as Olympia and Delphi. But without any doubt, Sparta was most known for its poetry, music, and dance. Spartan poets were admired- and it is one of the poets who wrote the first love poem known today. In which little remnants is left, but yet left to our imagination.
