…showed last 75 words of 1377 total…as her eyes began to water. As I would look with the corner of my eye, I began to remember her practicing in lane three with the varsity sophomores and juniors. I was bothered by my mistake, so I decided to avoid apologizing in order to escape my embarrassment. Though I felt bad about the error, I thought that it would be better for the both of us that this misunderstanding be kept to myself.
