The more indirect ways that it has been affected, was through things that they did subconsciously, because of their beliefs, such as the impartial way of land distribution, and the set up of their government and economy. From the time of Christopher Columbus through the Great Awakening religion has always been there, and it is something that is here in the present, and will follow us through the future centuries.
