Throughout history, we have witnessed many people climb their way from lowly peasants to powerful dictators and leaders. All of these people had the some of the same attributes: passion towards a cause, strong beliefs in what they were fighting for, and most importantly, they held people’s worst fears in their hands. By controlling fear, our most susceptible human emotion, leaders were able to effectively control the masses.
