a moment of compassion for Priam and understanding. He
still tries to hold on to his prowess, warrior character, but becomes somewhat human
for this part. Priam risks his own life just to get Hektor’s body back. By doing this
Priam revealed the softer side of Achilles. He is sympathetic to Priam for his loss and
explain some of his losses as well. Through the remembrance of the sorrowful events
Achilles seems more humanistic.
