In 1215, the Magna Carta was an impressive document. It made a huge impact on England’s government and influenced other documents such as the U.S. Constitution. Today, with most forms of government at their peak, the Magna Carta appears quite pathetic. Regardless of the many questions the Magna Carta left unanswered, it was a giant of its time, only becoming greater as it showed up in other distinguished documents throughout history.
