After the positive impacts the creation Aphrodite de Knidos brought forth in the Greek world, the idea of exposed female sexuality was no longer considered shameful. Praxiteles' revolutionary nude sculpture of Aphrodite paved the way to the Hellenistic period where nude paintings and sculptures such as "Venus de Melos" and "Aphrodite Persued by Pan" were presented. Whether or not it was intended, Praxiteles' had changed many peoples perspective and influenced many Artists to come.
