In conclusion, I feel that the author, Richard Conel, tried to show how people could change by experiencing different situations. Rainsford, after becoming the hunted prey himself, corrected his faults and formed new opinions about hunting and standing up for the rights of animals. Rainsford is an excellent role model for positive change!
