Edwin Arlington Robinson and Edgar Lee Masters are both great writers. One of Robinson’s works “Richard Cory” depicts a normal man who people admire that commits suicide suddenly one day. “Lucinda Matlock” by Masters, talks about a woman’s love and her life. s outlook on their lives and such than their lives itself. Masters poems, on the other hand, talked about people’s life itself. Robinson lives people’s lives through the way they actually lived it.
Although these men’s poems are similar they’re indeed different. They both tell about people’s lives but Robinson’s go more into the psychological inner self where as Masters lives people’s lives through their outlook on it.
