Nintendo’s GameCube could possibly follow the same path as Sega’s Dreamcast. A couple of years ago the Dreamcast, which was PS1’s main competitor, also lowered its price to , hoping to lure consumers. They eventually failed due to lack of quality software developers willing to work with them. Before long they discontinued the failed system.
