through the use of imagery, Shakespeare is able to create a convincing argument that love is eternal and unchanging, praising the glories of lovers who have entered into a relationship based on trust and understanding. Bront¸ also conveys the idea that love is everlasting and cannot weaken with the effects of time or the short periods of mortality. But also makes the point that obsessive love after death is both unhealthy and wrong.
