Salvador Dali, born May 11,1904 in Figueras, Spain, was a very influential Surrealist painter and printmaker. He was well known for his exploration s of subconscious imagery. This of course meant that he had to use mind-altering drugs such as LSD or Opium.
He was an art student in Madrid and Barcelona. He learned a great amount of painting styles, which he expressed all throughout his carrier.

the painting. The droopy clocks hang over rectangular box’s, which are in the middle of no were. The smooth textures almost makes this look life like, also the dark colors at the bottom of the painting that blend together with the lightness at the top. Dali chose his colors wisely by using a variation between oranges, yellows, blues and greens.
This painting will always be on of the most famous of all times.
