“Two in a row”
My eyes slowly open as I catch a glimpse of the mid-day Sun. The same Sun that had temporarily departed me for a few unretreivable moments. “That Sucked” I exclaimed as I looked at the blurred faces standing over me in a circle. “Are you O.K.? ” asks my coach. “Ya, I’m ok, but that lip on the infield has to be fixed”. …showed last 75 words of 453 total…me. Quickly I throw the ball to second and it’s relayed to first for two. So now, every Christmas or cousins birthday party I get to relive the story of how on consecutive plays I t!
ook one off the head, and one off the cup. What a lovely memory it is, every time I hear the story it feels as if I was wincing in pain on the field all over again.
