In my opinion the unpublished Emily Dickinson poem that appears in lesson 8 is not a genuine poem. Based on the style and word selection used in the poem printed there is enough evidence to prove in my mind that this is not a genuine Dickinson poem.

…showed last 75 words of 483 total…type of vocabulary that is beyond that of everyday language. The unpublished poem clearly uses common mediocre words unlike those of Dickinson previous works that emphasize the deep compassion of that which she is writing.
I feel that the unpublished poem is not a real Emily Dickinson poem because as compared to other selections read. This poem does not delve into the reclusive personality and thoughts proven by previous publications of known Dickinson poems.
