Being that Da Vinci seems like a down to earth kind of guy, again I think that he is more important to the development of man kid. He explored different areas that possibly wouldn't have been developed at all. So many advances in technology are due to Leonardo. If it wasn't for him, I don't think that we would be where we are today knowledge-wise.
