Rising fuel costs, increasing insurance prices, and escalating security fees are just the most significant. Many of the airlines are still trying to figure out how to recover from their bankruptcy woes and others are trying to avoid it. The industry will survive but it will be a few years before it will be the lucrative industry it was in 2000.
